Who We Are

  • Dixie

    Dixie Newnam: Having started her legal career at a large, full-service law firm in Dallas, Texas, Dixie co-founded Newnam Land in 2007, bringing big-firm experience to a small firm. Since that time, she has focused her practice primarily on clients who are individuals, small to medium sized businesses, local governments, and non-profits. She enjoys being able to bring her attention to detail and strategic analysis skills developed during her big-law training to clients who are looking for the flexibility and individual attention a small firm provides. When not working on legal matters, Dixie volunteers for various local organizations, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce and Wimberley Valley Radio (KWVH)—where she co-hosts a weekly radio program that explores all things tech. A certified yoga instructor, she enjoys studying not only the physical aspects of yoga, but also the philosophy, and brings the lessons learned there into her everyday life.

  • Hilda

    Hilda Carpenter: Hilda Carpenter has a rich and diverse background. She worked in high tech for over 20 years, then opened a boutique executive coaching firm while living in San Jose, CA. During this period, she focused on communication, high tech and engineering corporations. She worked with the top executives in the country to enrich their performance, both professionally and personally. Her intuition and experience bring into sharp relief the reason her career enjoyed success. As an academic professional she applies research to the real problems in the professional realm. Complex organizational problems are her specialty bringing together the intersections of people, organizations and technology. She believes that individuals and organizations can always improve to a higher potential. Her clients can expect to achieve higher professional and organizational results.

    Jennifer Sabatier: As an artist and creative human, imagination plays an important role in Jen Sabatier’s professional and personal life Jen brings diverse experiences, leadership skills, and consciousness practices to her work with groups and individuals. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston with a BA in Sociology and has an MA in Consciousness and Transformational Studies from John F. Kennedy University. For over 15 years, she studied Image Psychology at the Eidetic Institute, and continues to utilize this experiential and consciousness-based process to increase her own potential and that of her clients. As a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist through the Grief Recovery Institute, Jen works in the area of grief and loss supporting clients through difficult change and transition. Bringing new rituals to rite of passage moments, Jen believes we posses the innate vision and agency toward our own transformation.
